Hi! I'm Coach Adrian.
This program stems from a profound personal journey that began during my freshman year in High School. Discovering that my school offered community programs beyond academics was a revelation. I embraced an opportunity to volunteer at the After School Program, stepping into the role of an environmental educator. Responsible for hands-on farming, cooking, hiking, and immersive science and nature-themed adventures, I found my passion.
With each passing season, my dedication grew. From volunteering to securing my first job at the tender age of 14, guiding children through the Spring Break Vacation program, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of nature on young minds.
From 2011 to 2015, my journey as an environmental educator evolved, becoming an enlightening experience. It unveiled the vital importance of children having meaningful exposure to nature and the great outdoors. This realization became the cornerstone of Let’s Play Nature Days, a program crafted with the aim of providing children with unparalleled access to the wonders of the natural world.
Mission
In nurturing the vision for Let’s Play Nature Days, my aspiration is to cultivate a profound shift in how children perceive and engage with the environment. It's about instilling a comfort in getting a little dirty, fostering a sense of wonder that allows them to cradle harmless bugs in their hands, and ultimately nurturing a deep-seated love and appreciation for nature.
Vision
Through this program, we aim not just to educate but to empower. By immersing children in hands-on experiences, we seek to build their confidence in exploring the outdoors, discovering the beauty in every leaf, rock, and creature they encounter. By encouraging them to embrace the earthy joys of nature, we hope to spark a lifelong relationship rooted in respect, admiration, and a sense of stewardship for our natural world.
Let’s Play Nature Days is more than just a program; it's a gateway to a world of discovery, encouraging children to find joy in muddy hands, inquisitive exploration, and a genuine love affair with the great outdoors.
